Alzheimer's & Caffeine

An article came out today citing research showing that three large cups of coffee a day could help to slow the progress of Alzheimer's disease and even reverse the condition. Alzheimer’s currently is an incurable, progressively fatal disease that affects humans as they age, robbing them of all memory functions. Those with Down syndrome usually develop Alzheimer's, and it tends to present itself earlier in life - in one's late 40s or early 50s. For that reason, this research is particularly newsworthy for the DS community.

  2. What a great article find, I'll have to dig in to it a little more and see if it helps with deterioration due to Multiple Sclerosis as well.
