They're Coming Out.....

It's official - Trent's tonsils (and adenoids) are coming out.

We hoping we'll be able to schedule the surgery so that he can have it done with time to recover before school starts at the beginning of September, but we have to wait for the doctor's scheduler to call to see what will be possible.

Please pray for the surgery and that the scheduling will work out with the start of school.

  1. Praying for smooth sailing in surgery and after. I hope he likes his new school too.

  2. I hope things go smooth sailing for you. My son had his anoids and tonsils out and that's the best thing I could have done for him as he isn't sick hardly any more.

  3. I hope all goes well with your little guy. Surgery can be scary - regardless, but kids I know that have taken them out are so much better off afterwards - so you're making the right choice. Good luck w/it all. Oh, and I'm from the SITS welcome wagon to say hi & have a great weekend.

  4. I bet he will sail right on through the surgery...and be sick a lot less. My son also had his adenoids out and I think he only had one ear infection after that. And this was over 10 years ago :D

Stopping by from SITS to say hi and welcome. I know that you will enjoy being a part of this vibrant community of bloggers. I have a giveaway for a $50 giftcard on my blog that you may be interested in entering.
    carma :-)

  5. Praying that all goes well for Trent's surgery. I'm sure he'll feel much better afterwards.

    Welcome to the SITS community!

  6. Poor Trent! May he have all the ice cream he can eat afterwards!

I came by to welcome you to SITS! We're happy to have you with us!

  7. My little sister had this surgery and boy, what a great difference!!!!!!! She didn't drive my other sister crazy with snoring, she had more energy, and she grew a LOT more. She thought it was kinda scary but enjoyed the extra attention and ice cream.
