Recovering for our Busy Week

Antibiotics are pretty amazing - Even 24 hours after starting the medicine Chase was already starting to show a little improvement! Now, after three days of being on medicine, Chase is clearly feeling better but still has a long way to go. The doctor started him today on a nebulizer treatment (an inhaler hooked to the end of a plastic chamber) to reduce the wheezing that has replaced most of the pneumonia. Hopefully he'll do alot of recovering this weekend, as next week is going to be very very busy for Chase! With all the snow we're getting today, we'll be staying inside and keeping warm!

Monday - Occupational Therapy and visit to the ENT doctor
Wednesday - Prompt Therapy, Physical Therapy, and visit to the GI doctor
Thursday - Speech Therapy, Scott and I leave on our trip and leave the kids in the grandparents' hands!

We'll probably try to have some makeup therapy appointments next week and the week after, to make up for Chase missing a whole week of therapy. Despite the busy schedule, it'll be nice to be back to our usual routine - I feel like the therapy sessions really stimulate Chase and add a lot to his daily routine. Even though they make him work hard, he always has fun and is full of smiles. How great that we have therapists that Chase loves to "play" with!

  1. You seem to have alot of therapy appointments. My daughter is 8 months old and the only therapy she has received is PT. We also live in Atlanta. Are your therapies coordinated through Babies Can't Wait?
