Basketball - Making the Shots and Leading the Team

Disability Scoop has a great (and short!) article today about a boy with Down syndrome named David Andrews who has a 3-point scoring average better than even LeBron James! Although I see many articles about coaches putting in their players with DS for the sake of giving them a chance to play (nothing wrong with that), this article really showed me that kids with DS can be part of the team AND excell in the sport.

You have to check out the video of him shooting baskets and spinning the ball on his fingertip - absolutely ridiculous skills! Click Here to visit the article, entitled Teen With Down Syndrome Turns Basketball Phenom.
